TrueStamp Camera Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies specifically and exclusively to your use of the TrueStamp Camera mobile application published by Saurabh Studio.
1. Offline-First Architecture & Zero Cloud Media Storage
TrueStamp Camera is designed with an offline-first architecture. All photo captures, video recordings, timestamp rendering, and Before & After comparisons take place entirely on your device.
Saurabh Studio does not operate remote user databases, and we never upload, store, or transmit your captured photos or recorded videos to our servers.
2. Device Permissions & Usage
TrueStamp Camera requests only permissions essential for its core functionality:
• Camera (CAMERA): Required to capture live photos and record videos. • Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used solely to record audio during video capture. • Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): When enabled by the user, GPS coordinates and reverse-geocoded place names are stamped onto photos. Location data is processed purely on-device at capture time and is never tracked in the background or transmitted to remote servers. • Photos & Media Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to save stamped media to your device gallery and load photos for Before & After comparisons.
3. Timestamp Generation & Accuracy
Timestamps (date, running seconds, custom formatting, and watermark) are rendered locally using your device’s hardware clock and system time. No remote time servers are contacted.
4. Advertising & Google Mobile Ads
The free tier of TrueStamp Camera displays advertisements served via Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google may process device identifiers and ad-related telemetry in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Users in applicable regions can manage their consent and privacy choices at any time via in-app privacy controls.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions (if applicable) are processed exclusively through official store billing (Google Play Billing). TrueStamp Camera does not collect, receive, or store your payment card numbers, banking details, or billing addresses.
6. User Accounts & Data Ownership
No user registration or account creation is required to use TrueStamp Camera. You retain 100% ownership and control over your photos and videos.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all media is stored locally on your device, deleting photos from your device gallery permanently removes them. App preferences and cache are completely removed when you uninstall the application.
8. Third-Party Services
The application integrates the following third-party developer services:
• Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) • Google Play Billing • Platform Geocoder (when location reverse-geocoding is enabled)
