Frequently Asked Questions
Does Personal Diary store my journal entries on a remote server?
No. All diary entries, photos, and voice notes are stored exclusively on your local device in a private, sandboxed SQLite database.
Can Saurabh Studio recover my forgotten diary password or backup key?
No. Because Personal Diary is 100% offline and zero-knowledge, we do not have access to your device, your passcode, or your backup encryption keys.
How do I transfer my diary entries to a new device?
Use the encrypted backup export feature in the app settings to generate a protected backup file. You can then copy this file to your new device and restore it.
Does Personal Diary require an internet connection?
No. All core journaling, photo attachment, voice recording, and backup features function completely offline.
